Here are the steps I followed: when I open texplorer from me2explorer, open the experimental tool to make a mod from a tpf file, and then select the appropriate tpf file (I'm trying to install jean luc's ultra textures), me2explorer scans the archive and then tells me some of the dds files are in an incorrect format. My first attempt to use me2 to mod the game didn't work. The only tool I've found so far is me2explorer, packaged with me3explorer. Texmod murders my frame rate, so I'm trying to find a better way to mod textures.
